Prism

We manufacture different types of prisms such as Wedge Prism, Right Angle Prism, Penta Prism, Rhomboid Prisms, Roof Prism and others. These are provided with various coating options such as no coating and AR coating on entry as well as exit surface. Further, as per client's requests we can provide beam splitter or solver coating on the prism's reflective surface. Depending on type of prism selected by you, its angle tolerance can be within 1 or 5 arc seconds and dimension tolerance be either +/- 0.10mm or +/-0.20mm. The material of construction also differ from Bk7, CDGM H-K9L, N-BK7 / H-K9L, Sf11 to Grade A Fine Annealed to Fused Silica, Silicon, Germanium. The surface accuracy and roughness also vary from product to product. The range of surface quality is 60 to 10 scratch and dig (S/D).

About Prisms of Different Types:

1) Wedge prism works like wobble plate. Its vertex angle requires at least one minimum deviation.
2) It is very simple to install a right angle prism. But, it is tough to distort the exterior machine pressure.
3) Basic uses of penta prism are in instrumental applications such as alignment, optical tooling, surveying, etc.
4) Rhomboid Prisms are used for laser beam displacement, however the direction of beam is not changed.
